Computer workstations designed for factory environments that accommodate standard desktop PCs are now available from the OP/Station® Division of Automated Control Concepts, Inc. The enclosures contain a lift-down rear shelf for factory or user-installed RAM, hard drive, peripherals and software. The “microOP” series are NEMA 4X-rated and constructed of stainless steel. The units also include a 15” or 18” flat panel LCD monitor with a sealed “ruggedized” keyboard and pointing device. Optional cooling is available for classified areas, while other microOP platforms contain built-in purge for operation in harsher environments.
