COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS ARE AT HOME IN HAZARDOUS PROCESSING ENVIRONMENTS

Computer workstations suited for the potentially hazardous environments of petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and other process industries, are now available from the OP/Station® Division of Automated Control Concepts, Inc. The company’s “microOP” series of enclosures offers NEMA 4X-rated stainless steel housings with built-in purge for operation in classified areas. The units also include a 15” or 18” flat panel LCD monitor with a sealed keyboard and pointing device. microOP workstations are integrated with a Pentium III computer with user-designated RAM, hard drive, peripherals and software. Other microOP platforms are available for operation in less harsh environments and also to accomodate standard desktop PCs.
